Iowa group helps man get legal residency
MOUNT VERNON, Iowa (UMNS) — Through the work of United Methodist Iowa Justice for Our Neighbors and support from Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador was able to get legal residency. Now, he can stay in the U.S. with his wife and family without fear of deportation.
