ATLANTA — The United Methodist Board of Global Ministries has joined with the National Council of Churches in the Philippines, asking the country’s government to repeal the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020. The law “blatantly violates the rights and privileges of many innocent people who stand on behalf of justice and peace for all people in the Philippines,” the mission agency said.
