Global Ministries
Agency says Philippines law violates rights

ATLANTA — The United Methodist Board of Global Ministries has joined with the National Council of Churches in the Philippines, asking the country’s government to repeal the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020. The law “blatantly violates the rights and privileges of many innocent people who stand on behalf of justice and peace for all people in the Philippines,” the mission agency said.

4 new online courses for church leaders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Amid heightened demand, the United Methodist Communications training team has launched a new set of online courses that people can take as their schedules allow. The four free courses are: Communicating about Online Giving, Leading Remote Worship, Recording Great Video and "Ministerio en los grupos de Facebook," a Spanish version of how to use Facebook groups in ministry.
