Christian hymn unites Hong Kong protesters
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (UM News) — “Sing Hallelujah to the Lord” has become the unofficial anthem for protesters this month at Hong Kong demonstrations against a proposed law. AURORA, Colo. — The Land, an outdoor United Methodist faith community, is looking for volunteers willing to build benches and picnic tables, move dirt, install fences and plant trees. Emory leader receives ethical leadership award
ATLANTA — Methodist educational leaders honored the achievements of the Rev. James T. Laney, president emeritus of United Methodist-related Emory University, by making him the first recipient of the Global Ethical Leadership Award.
