NEW YORK (UMNS) — Like most Christians in Pakistan, Insar Gohar can trace his family’s faith commitment back at least four generations. But that heritage — spread by missionaries during British rule in the second half of the 19th century — also sets Christians apart in the eyes of Pakistan’s majority Muslim population, he says. Exhibit on Passover Haggadah at Emory
ATLANTA (UMNS) — Pitts Theology Library at Emory University's Candler School of Theology has a new exhibit, “Reading the Telling: The Passover Haggadah Across Time and Place,” highlighting this compilation of biblical passages, prayers, hymns and rabbinic literature read during the Jewish Passover Seder. The exhibit, which opened March 7, will run through June 30 in the Pitts Exhibit Gallery.
