Dallas pastor honored
DALLAS — The Rev. Stan Copeland has been named the 2022 Distinguished Graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology, one of 13 United Methodist seminaries. Copeland has been senior pastor of Dallas’ Lovers Lane United Methodist Church since 1998, a period in which its large congregation has diversified, including through worshippers from 14 African countries. Lovers Lane’s community ministries also have expanded under Copeland’s leadership.
