DURHAM, N.C. (UMNS) — The legacy of Chinese dissident Lin Zhao is still relevant 50 years after her execution. The Methodist-educated Zhao endured years of torture and imprisonment, sometimes using her own blood to scrawl her protests. A book by Duke professor Lian Xi tells this amazing story.
