MUTARE, Zimbabwe (UM News) — The 173 young students at United Methodist Hartzell Central Primary School now have access to 10 desktop computers, thanks to a United Methodist Global Ministries grant. The technology is helping teachers and children adapt to the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Kudzai Chingwe has the story.

Pastor interviews coach who inspired ‘Ted Lasso’
LEAWOOD, Kan. — The Rev. Adam Hamilton of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection has shared the video of an interview he did with Donnie Campbell. Campbell coached actor Jason Sudeikis in high school and was a model for Sudeikis’ character Ted Lasso in the popular comedy TV show of that name.

WASHINGTON — The United Methodist Board of Church and Society welcomed His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Simpson Chapel and the United Methodist Building on Oct. 26. Bartholomew is the spiritual leader of 300 million Orthodox Christians worldwide. During his Washington visit, he called on U.S. leaders to combat climate change. Linda Bloom reports.

ROANOKE, Va. — Members of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church found a way to help both teachers and a new local business.
