FREETOWN, Sierra Leone (UM News) — Members of United Methodist Women in the Sierra Leone Conference have embarked on an anti-cheating campaign at United Methodist schools. Cheating on high school exit exams is a problem that has plagued the country for decades. Phileas Jusu has the story.

Perkins launches youth ministry initiative

DALLAS — “Reboot: the Congregation as Youth Worker” is a new, Lilly Endowment-funded initiative of Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology aimed at equipping entire church congregations to serve in ministry with youth. The ethnically diverse starter cohort includes 18 churches, 10 of them United Methodist.
