New vehicles ease bishops’ travel in Congo

Episcopal leaders of the Congo Central Conference recently received sport utility vehicles, thanks to financial support from the United Methodist Board of Global Ministries.

Congo church supports school after fire

The United Methodist Church raised over $12,000 to rebuild the school’s computer laboratory and replace 45 laptops.

Church, Congolese government unite against monkeypox

The United Methodist Church is housing a monkeypox research laboratory at the church’s Tunda General Hospital in Maniema province. The laboratory will help combat the monkeypox epidemic that has been raging in the region since 2021.

The United Methodist Church moves across Congo River

The denomination recently established a new mission in the Republic of Congo in Central Africa. A new church was planted in Brazzaville, the country's capital city, located on the Congo River across from Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
