Religion and Race celebrates 50 years

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (UMNS) — Formed in 1968 as a commission to monitor the church’s integration efforts, the United Methodist Commission on Religion and Race has expanded its inclusion advocacy worldwide. Joey Butler reports.

EarthKeeper solarizes community

DUNWOODY, Ga. — The EarthKeepers program, part of the United Methodist Board of Global Ministries, aims to equip church members to develop environmental initiatives in their communities. This video, in time for Earth Day on April 22, highlights one such initiative led by United Methodist Tina Wilkinson. She is bringing solar power to her community.
