United Methodists react to Chauvin verdict
MINNEAPOLIS (UM News) — United Methodists across the connection joined the national response to the guilty verdict handed down April 20 in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd. The church on April 21 dedicated an official state marker, honoring that history as Tallahassee’s first religious organization.
