NGABU CHIKWAWA, Malawi (UMNS) — Two days of face-to-face negotiations that culminated a year of peace talks marked the first steps toward reconciliation and unity for two Malawi United Methodist church leaders estranged for 10 years. Siyileni Malinki has the story.

Church recycling helps families get water
SWANSEA, S.C. — Living Water Project at Calvary United Methodist collects one abundant resource — scrap metal — and trades it for a scarce resource — water. The proceeds from recycling scrap metal from the community go toward providing water to a Navajo Indian reservation in Baca, New Mexico, through an organization that installs solar-powered cisterns and pumps for areas with limited access to water. Laura Camby McCaskill reports.
