Membership rises with churches in East Congo
GOMA, Congo (UM News) — Thousands of United Methodist faithful in eastern Congo have a new place to worship with the completion of a large, modern church in Amani. It's the 33rd new church to be built since 2012 as part of Bishop Gabriel Yemba Unda’s “Rise and Build” campaign to strengthen evangelism. Philippe Kituka Lolonga reports.

Face masks, gloves go to 2,500 in East Africa
ALCOA, Tenn. — United Methodists helped provide face masks, sanitizer and gloves to more than 2,500 people in East Africa to protect against COVID-19. The Holston Conference’s South Sudan Ministry Team provided a grant of $1,868 for the project. Annette Spence has the story.
