"We ran into our minister’s office yelling, ‘You’re not going to believe what we found!'"
— Reba Harrington, on discovering a copy of a 1943 film called “Christ Is Born.”

While trying to straighten out the archives at First United Methodist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana, Reba Harrington and Mary Vizzier discovered a worn case holding the 1943 film “Christ Is Born.” The church made the film, collaborating with movie professionals from the Army Signal Corps stationed at nearby Camp Livingston. A restored version of the film will be shown at the church on Sunday, Dec. 17. Photo courtesy the Louisiana Conference.
