Christian artist dies at 90
AMARILLO, Texas — Christian artist Kenneth J. Wyatt died May 24 at the age of 90. Best known for his portrayals of cowboys, Wyatt teamed up with the Foundation for Evangelism to paint another kind of traveler. Wyatt's "Offer Them Christ" depicts John Wesley giving a sendoff to Thomas Coke and his party as they prepare to sail to North America.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The director of racial justice at the Scarritt Bennett Center is leaving for a new position as director of leadership development and organizing for the Children's Defense Fund. The Rev. Cherisna Jean-Marie's last day at Scarritt was June 4. Scarritt is a nonprofit conference, retreat and education center.
