LILONGWE, Malawi (UM News) — United Methodist Church of the Resurrection of Leawood, Kansas, has been working in partnership with the Malawi United Methodist Church to address a variety of humanitarian needs. Most recently, the church enabled the drilling of more than 80 boreholes in the past six months. Francis Nkhoma has the story.

SHELDON, Vt. — Sheldon United Methodist Church had just gotten an occupancy permit on the new building where it would host free community meals when COVID-19 put those plans on indefinite hold. DANVILLE, Calif. — Faced with a rising need for blood donations, San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church teamed up with the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints congregation to get people to roll up their sleeves. The result was a combined 49 units of blood, enough to save up to 147 lives. Lisa Jancarick has the story.

BOISE, Idaho — In its efforts to dismantle racism, Collister United Methodist Church has joined with nonprofits and businesses across Boise to establish Turning Pages, a project for 12 elementary schools.
