LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Criminals are posing as United Methodist clergy to trick people in churches to send them gift cards. The con artists use email addresses that contain the pastor’s name to fool their targets. Caleb Hennington reports.

Congregation takes lead in storm relief

DALLAS — Recent tornadoes here damaged Christ’s Foundry United Methodist Mission and the homes of some members of the predominantly Hispanic congregation. But that didn’t keep Christ's Foundry from jumping right into relief work, including delivering food to neighborhood families in need. The Rev. Amy Spaur, pastor, said members took the lead, while she engaged the North Texas Conference to help as well.
