Church rallies with feeding ministry
ELMORE, Minn. — Members of Elmore United Methodist have reinvigorated the church through a feeding ministry. The Rev. Russ Jacobsen helped the small congregation launch a midweek meal and worship service. It has resulted in a rise in church attendance from 20 to 60 on most Sundays. Christa Meland has the story.

Yambasu initiative promotes fish farming
GOUAGONOUPLEU, Côte d’Ivoire — A grant from Global Ministries’ Yambasu Agriculture Initiative is helping to create jobs for youth and women in rural parts of the country. Over the past six months, the Côte d’Ivoire Conference has constructed fishponds and built a Village Savings and Loan Association program. Kepifri Lakoh has the story.

CHICAGO — Following a historic period of growth after the 2019 special General Conference, the unofficial advocacy group Reconciling Ministries Network has built an improved website. The group, which advocates for LGBTQ and racial equality in The United Methodist Church, also has updated its virtual resources and governing statements for a more intersectional approach to justice.
