GENEVA (WCC) — The World Council of Churches’ top executive, the Rev. Olav Fykse Tveit, condemned a Nov. 24 attack at a mosque in Egypt that killed more than 300 people, including at least 27 children.

LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C. — The Lake Junaluska Assembly Inc. trustees have issued an apology for past discrimination against African-Americans at the longtime Methodist retreat and conference center. The action came in response to a resolution from the Holston Conference.
