Bishop Easterling remembers Baltimore congressman

FULTON, Md. — Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling writes of the passing of U.S. Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, who died Oct. 17 at a hospice center in Baltimore. “Our hearts cry out in sorrow at the loss of this faithful servant, friend and champion of justice,” she said of the Baltimore congressman.

Alabama-West Florida Conference
Bishop does hurricane anniversary tour

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama-West Florida Conference Bishop David Graves spent four weekends in September and early October visiting churches that provided crucial community service after Hurricane Michael, which hit the Gulf Coast on Oct. 10, 2018. “It was important for me to personally thank these pastors and congregations for the tireless efforts,” Graves said.
