Duke Divinity professor to meet Pope Francis
DURHAM, N.C. — The Rev. Edgardo Colón-Emeric, a United Methodist elder and assistant professor of Christian theology at Duke Divinity School, is scheduled to have an audience with Pope Francis on Oct. 19, as part of a delegation from the Methodist-Catholic Dialogue. Colón-Emeric is providing the first Spanish translation of a document from the dialogue.
