Swanson, episcopal leader of the conference, played college basketball and is a "huge fan of the sport," said Tamica Smith-Jeuitt, communicator for the Mississippi Annual (regional) Conference. "The bishop loves sports so I thought we could use the format to reach people where they are," she said. Swanson will be on July 30 starting at 5 p.m. ET on The ZONE and will be the celebrity guest in "Tee to Green," a weekly Jackson WLBT-TV program.
