(UMNS) - United Methodist churches in the Memphis Annual (regional) Conference will celebrate Sunglasses Sunday on Feb. 10. As part of the lay-driven conference ministry Project 20/20, churchgoers are asked to bring new and used sunglasses and eyeglasses. Emmanuel United Methodist Church operates a recycling center that cleans, refurbishes and repairs the specs for mission teams that provide free vision care for the poor.
