African bishops commit to church unity

During the Africa Colleges of Bishops meeting, 11 episcopal leaders from the African continent pledged their support for worldwide regionalization and expressed a commitment to stay in the United Methodist connection.

Former students give back to families in need

Nine Hartzell High School students who completed their studies in 1981 have launched a foundation to help care for poor communities in southern Africa.

Africa University celebrates 30th graduation

More than 560 students from 22 countries received degrees during Africa University’s 30th graduation ceremony. Nearly 58% of this year’s graduates are women. Former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano was the keynote speaker at the pan-African United Methodist university’s commencement.
