Black clergywomen experience freedom to dance, operate, manifest

At its national meeting in New Orleans, the Black Clergywomen of The United Methodist Church caucus gathered to encourage one another and be encouraged by peers in key leadership positions.

Bishop: ‘Love every neighbor’

Twenty-six deaconesses and home missioners were consecrated following Bishop Karen Oliveto’s sermon urging listeners to make God’s love visible in all they do.

Black Clergywomen meet for fellowship, mentorship, empowerment

The Black Clergywomen of The United Methodist Church caucus gathered in Washington July 31-Aug. 2 for its national meeting. The meeting was an invitation to take off the Superwoman cape and simply “Be You.”
