United Methodists react to Chauvin verdict

Church leaders praised the justice of the verdict against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the killing of George Floyd, but cautioned that much work lies ahead to overcome systemic racism.

En un comunicado de prensa reciente, líderes religiosos/as anunciaron la entrega de una carta al presidente Biden donde expresan gran preocupación sobre la propuesta de prohibir el asilo a las personas que ingresen sin inspección o que no busquen protección en los países de tránsito por los que pasaron para llegar a los Estados Unidos.
